It sounds as if the sun will be shining this weekend, so what better way to enjoy it with some healthy fruit kebabs for the barby, which will also make your digestive system happy!

Spicy fruit kebabs with pineapple, mango, pawpaw and cinnamon

These simple fruit kebabs are quick, fun and healthy and you can cook them under the grill or the barbecue.

Serves 4

Per serving

286 calories <1g fat

no saturated fat,  4g fibre

Ingredients

1 medium pineapple

1 large mango, not too ripe

1 large paw paw, not too ripe

2 bananas

125ml (4 fl oz) runny honey

Half a tsp cinnamon

Method

1. Cut all the fruit into bite size pieces and thread onto skewers

2. Drizzle the kebabs with honey, sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Cook under a hot grill or on the barbecue in a foil lined pan for around 5 mins. Enjoy
