Happy Easter

Easter is a time when many of us will get together with family and friends to share food and friendship. Do not worry if you have a gut health issue or you are cooking for someone with a gut health issue you can still celebrate.

Dr Joan Ransley has created gut-friendly recipes that are easy to cook and great to share.   Have a look at some of our Easter favourites:

Starter

You could start with a Roasted Red Pepper Paté – simple tasty and nutritious made with peppers, sunflower seeds, smoked paprika, lemon juice and rosemary.

Main

Then the main event – here we

have two options. You could try Chicken breast with haricot bean, tomato & pesto dressing pulses such as haricot beans are good for the health of the gut. Or maybe you would prefer Roasted Baby Carrot Salad with Walnuts, Puy Lentils and Feta!

Dessert

Finally, Easter wouldn’t be Easter without chocolate.  Get your choccie hit with Dr Joan’s Chocolate Mousse – made with just four key ingredients – ripe bananas, avocados, almond butter and cocoa whisked together into a delicious light and velvety chocolate mousse. If that doesn’t take your fancy why not try our delicious crumbly, Carrot, almond and coconut cake .
