Love Your Gut Week – the annual campaign that can help us all take better care of our digestive health – returns from today until 22 September 2024. This year, Love Your Gut will explore the varying attitudes people have towards their gut health and focus on empowering people to learn to love their gut, and how they can better listen to and feed their gut.
The campaign will include insights from the Love Your Gut experts including Registered Dietitian Jo Travers, who will provide a guide on ‘Learning to Love Your Gut’ featuring simple ways both men and women can look after their gut – from clever diet tweaks to exercise tips.
To help those in need of gut-friendly mealtime inspiration, there will be delicious new recipes for tasty meals from Dr Joan Ransley. Dr Joan will create six new gut and cost-friendly recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
In addition, Nutritionist and Science Manager, Dr Emily Prpa will share a handy glossary of gut terms that we often hear but don’t necessarily understand, as well as advice on the role our gut health plays on our overall wellbeing.
Love Your Gut is also home to a wealth of other content, including the free-to-download resources such as the Digestive Health Assessment, Eating Well Guide and Food, Mood and Symptoms Diary.
