Festival of Winter Walks
When it’s cold outside, and all the festive programmes are on the TV, getting outside and going for a walk may not seem like the most appealing thing to do. But, the Rambler’s Festival of Winter Walks is back from the 20th December until the 5th January and they would love for to you go out walking.
Getting out and About
The festive period can be a time of (over)indulging, so going for a walk can be a good way to burn off some of that extra energy and help get your digestive system moving.
The Christmas parties and all the get-togethers can mean spending a lot of time with people you wouldn’t normally, and that can become quite stressful. Walking can be a good way to get some headspace and unwind – and what better way than taking in the fresh air and joys of nature.
Rambling
For some people, this time of year can feel a bit lonely so The Ramblers have just the thing for you – you can find walks close to where you live, including group walks. So joining one of these could be a great way to meet new people.
